Description

Due to the poor thermal shock stability and low wear resistance of magnesia bricks, the joint between the bricks and the kiln skin is easy to peel off from the kiln skin, which affects the service life of the segment. However, silica-mullite bricks have good thermal shock stability, but silica-mullite refractory bricks have good thermal shock stability and will not crack during use. Exfoliates, resists erosion, and extends service life.
3. The surface temperature of Silica Mullite Brick in the transition zone of the cement rotary kiln is about 1400°C. The temperature of the front tropical zone, cooling zone and other parts is lower than that of the transition zone. There is a protective kiln skin in the firing zone, so the brick surface temperature is not high. The load softening starting temperature of Silica Mullite Brick is above 1500°C. In particular, Silica Mullite Brick have a dense structure and are composed of high-hardness minerals, corundum, silicon carbide, and mullite. They have particularly good wear resistance and are very suitable for transition zone bricks. The compressive strength and softening temperature of refractory silica mullite are significantly higher than those of anti-flaking high alumina bricks. Thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and thermal conductivity are not high. Silicon mullite refractory materials are required for the process characteristics of the post-transition zone. The service life is 1.5-2 times that of anti-flaking bricks. It has good wear resistance and is more suitable for cooling zones. Its service life can reach more than two years. The service life of silicon molybdenum brick is 3-5 times that of high alumina refractory brick. The refractory bricks used in different parts of the cement rotary kiln should be selected according to the working environment of different sections of the rotary kiln.
